How We Work

Building on the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) framework, Covive breaks the reporting process into five phases: Envision, Engage, Monitor, Draft, Design.

1) Envision report outcomes.

Where are you now? What are your goals? Who’s the audience? What business functions should be included in the report? Answering these questions provides a foundation for collecting data and developing a sustainability strategy that will help you meet your business objectives.

2) Engage internal and external stakeholders.

We use workshops or surveys to document the concerns of NGOs, employees, communities, and shareholders. Addressing these concerns in a sustainability report helps to enhance shareholder confidence and brand loyalty.

3) Monitor sustainability performance data.

Determining how to measure performance data can be challenging. We help clients adapt GRI indicators to their business and set up software solutions if needed to gather data.

4) Draft performance goals and strategic management narratives.

We help you set short-term and long-term sustainability goals, then we pull all the information together into concise organizational profiles and case studies detailing performance goals and management strategies.

5) Design and production of print and online media.

Covive knows how to translate complex environmental, social, and economic performance metrics and strategies into accessible narratives and information-rich graphics. We blend your corporate identity with your emerging sustainability strategies and initiatives to create a credible, comprehensive report, in print or online.

Let’s Talk.
